Good place to stay, nice clean space and located conveniently close to the station and supermatkets.

The staff was really nice and everything was very clean!

Only issue it that the beds were a bit uncomfortable as it was a thin mattress but that is pretty common in japan anyways

Very comfortable. Friendly staff specially the girl in the reception, she went out of her way to help us and we really appreciated it! Totally recommended for the stay in Kioto

Public spaces could be cleaned more regularly (always considering Japanese standards, for world standard is spotless)

Friendly staff, wonderful and cozy environment, comfortable beds, clean bathroom and showers

WiFi was not very strong, had a bad experience with a very messy and inconsiderate bunk mate

Excellent place and even better value

Excellent value for money! Lovely kitchen, very tidy place and enough space in bedroom for two people and bags. Good location for getting metro; would reccomend either buying a day pass or using JR rail pass from Rokijizu to get into the centre of Kyoto. Also supermarket very near by for cheap sushi after 8pm.

Someone took my cheap sushi from the shared fridge... Also some staff appeared reluctant to help when it came to making enquiries.

Very clean and with all facilities

They will charge you for taxes separately 200yen per night, this should be included in booking price but they don't put which is very deceptive. Still worth it but be aware that they will charge you even if you already payed the booking

Excellent

Really clean and tidy, modern rooms and communal areas. Staff were really friendly. Handy location near to the tube, also near to a liquor vending machine if that’s what you need!

Some of the guests as unfortunately multiple times we had things stolen out of the fridge even with the hostel putting clear signs on the fridge.

Really great value but don't try and do laundry there.

Staff was friendly. Location was near subway station although not near downtown. However it is close to Daigo temple, which I liked. The design of the hostel is really airy and relaxing.

Tried to do laundry but the dryer did not work. Had to convince the staff to let me dry my clothes outside. Spent at least 1,000 yen trying to dry clothes and they still weren't dry.

The property was fresh and clean, aesthetically great. The showers and water pressure, common are was tidy and a good size

The mattresses were thin, slept on half of my doona for more comfort
